And what if a PEL\u00cdCANO gave you distilled water for your process with a conductivity of up to 5 \u00b5S\/cm? And can you imagine a\u00a0NARVAL\u00a0working at your leachate treatment plant?<\/p>\n

Well, this is what\u00a0Incro, S.A.<\/strong>\u00a0has been doing for the last three years in the waste treatment sector. Their evaporation equipment, which purifies numerous types of wastewater (cooling and lubricant emulsions, active baths, rinses, saline water, etc.) have been given animal names based on their size: CAIM\u00c1N, PING\u00dcINO, FLAMENCO . Spanish names from a Spanish company with Spanish capital, but with extensive international presence. In the last twenty years,\u00a0Incro, S.A.<\/strong> has specialized in the treatment of high-load wastewater through evaporation. With its proprietary technology it has resolved discharge issues in sectors as diverse as the automotive industry, municipal waste landfills, the pharmaceutical industry, the bulk and fine chemicals industry, the agri-food sector, fish farms, livestock holdings, etc. In 2009 the company added Mechanical Vapor Compression technology (MVC) to its portfolio of products. Since 2013 it has been designing and manufacturing its own evaporators, as well as undertaking the installation, start-up, maintenance and supervision of their operation.<\/p>\n

Its equipment distils the effluent, recovering high quality water (with a conductivity of down to 5 \u00b5S\/cm). \u00a0All the pollutants are confined to a concentrate that represents on average 1%-5% of the incoming wastewater. There is no evaporator on the market that achieves such a high quality of distilled water with such a small amount of concentrate and such low energy consumption.<\/p>\n

A simulation on the website explains the elegance of the MVC technology which manages to evaporate the effluent thanks to the energy it recovers from condensing the generated steam. The only energy needed is electricity, which is supplied to a compressor that heats the vapor while at the same time increasing the pressure from a slight vacuum to atmospheric pressure. Hence the name: Mechanical Vapor Compression. This technology is ousting the old physical\/chemical equipment thanks to the benefits it offers of zero liquid discharge, high quality distilled water, the absence of chemical reagents, minimal footprint, and reduction of personnel costs, not to mention the savings from evaporation by vacuum pump and very low operating costs.<\/p>\n
